She was predeceased by: her brother Eldon Ruff. She is survived by: her spouse Lewis Voigts; her children, Debra Jo Voigts and Alan Voigts; her children-in-law, Cindy Voigts and Mary Ann; and also John Humphrey. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.

Memorials in Betty Jean's name may be made to First United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
