He was predeceased by: his parents, Autto McGowan and Erie Wisdom; and his siblings, Wendell McGowan, Wanda Skonetski, Betty Lawler and Elma Jineel Oakes.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda N. Hill of East Peoria; his granddaughters, Brianna N. Wilkerson of East Peoria and Estella Hill of East Peoria; his brothers, Jimmie McGowan of Knoxville, TN, Milze McGowan (Cassie) of Russell Springs, KY and Phillip McGowan of Pontiac, IL; and his sister-in-law Marcia McGowan of Pontiac. He is also survived by his daughter, granddaughters, friends.
Memorials may be made to the Pontiac Sportsman Club.
