He is survived by: his son Craig Oest (Karen) of Fairbury, Illinois; his granddaughters, Emma Oest of Chicago and Tonya Jones (Eric) of Heyworth; his great grandchildren, Payton, Reese and Taylor Hill; his brother Don Oest of Havana; and his sister-in-law Bessie Oest of Lewistown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
