It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita A. Lawton of Polo, Illinois, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Lunz and Celestine Lunz; her husband Donald Lawton; and her siblings, Katherine Jelick, Dorothy Greenan, Robert Lunz of Chicago and Ray Lunz of Chicago.

She is survived by: her sister Jean Lawton; and her children, Dorothy Dusing (Mark) and Dan Lawton (Cathy). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in Rita's name and may be directed to Polo Family Funeral Home, 110 E. Dixon St. Polo, Illinois 61064.
