It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard S. Hewes of Polo, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard S. Hewes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hewes and Dorothy Hewes (Wheat); and his wife Lisa. He is survived by: his son Christopher Hewes of Polo; and his brother Robert Hewes of Prophetstown, IL. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Rock River Hospice or Happy Tails Humane Society.
