It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Kimpel of Polo, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Kimpel and Ruth Kimpel (Kramer); his granddaughter Jennifer Warren; and his sister Sharon Ruble. He is survived by: his close friend Georgia VanUnnik; and his children, Lisa Landherr (George) of Lanark, IL, Lori King (Jerry) of Leaf River, IL, Alan Kimpel (Ruth) of Abington, IL, Steve Kimpel (Kristin) of Polo, IL and Brian Kimpel (Jean) of Freeport, IL. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister.
