He was predeceased by: his mother Lela Otten; and his pet Petey. He is survived by: his father Frank Otten of Oregon; his children, Michael Otten of Rockford, Whitney Near (Michael Kahly) of Mount Morris and Tiffany Otten of Polo; his grandchildren, Noah, Aaliyah (Mount Morris), Jayden and Elizabeth (Polo); and his siblings, Candy Sandova (Bob) of Texas, Neal Otten of Oregon, Donald Otten (Connie) of Indiana, Kenny Otten (Gina) of Oregon, Steven Otten of Oregon and Randy Otten (Jodi) of Oregon.
