With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leota W. Cavanaugh (Polo, Illinois), born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Manning and Catherine Manning (Halfman); her husband Kenneth Blakeslee; her children, Teresa Wolber (Roy) of Polo, Paul Cavanaugh Jr (Donna) of Polo, Timothy Cavanaugh (Stacey) of Polo, Ron Blakeslee of Polo and Kenneth Blakeslee Jr. (Margaret) of Rock Falls; her sister LaVonne M. Blakeslee; her son Peter Cavanaugh; and her daughter-in-law Jean Ann Blakeslee. She was also cherished by 13 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren; many Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
