With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry G. Hackbarth of Polo, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hackbarth and Marie Hackbarth (Cassens). He is survived by: his wife Elsie Young; his children, Sherry Johnson (Tom), Pam Lotz (Dave) of Oregon, IL and Michael Hackbarth (Cindi) of Chadwick, IL; his siblings, Janice Jacobs (Jerry) of Chadwick, IL, Julia Hackbarth (Jim Meichtry) of Sterling, IL, Roger Hackbarth (Frances) of Rock Falls, IL, Ronnie Hackbarth of Milledgeville, IL and Carl Hackbarth (Jenny) of Milledgeville, IL; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Bohn (Boyd), Andrew, Ryan, Zach and Sarah Johnson; his brothers, Lauren, Justin Hackbarth and Eli Lotz; and his great grandchildren, Autumn, Lincoln and River.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to either St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Polo or Milledgeville, IL FFA.
