We bid farewell to Kathryn Lynn Cox (Polo, Illinois), born in Dixon, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 78. Kathryn Lynn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton George Ortgiesen and Mildred Edna Ortgiesen (Deadmond); her husband Edward Alan Cox; and also, Edmund, Alice Cox (Johns) and Danielle Huggins.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Cox (Michele) of Maitland, FL, Sue Cox (Carlos) of Dixon, IL and Cyndi Cunningham (Andrew) of Rochelle, IL; her grandchildren, Sean Cox, Dylan Cox (Lily), Chandler Cunningham, Trenton Cunningham, Easton Cunningham and Nicole Huggins; her great grandchildren, Brylee and Skyler; her siblings, Donna Jaske (Carl) of Columbus, OH, Wanda Willstead (Arthur) of Dixon, IL, Mike Ortgiesen (Mary) of Mt. Morris, IL, Dennis Ortgiesen (Tom) of Rock Falls, IL, Steve Ortgiesen of Rock Falls, IL, Carl Ortgiesen (Barb) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Clark Ortgiesen of Mt. Vernon, IL; her pet Alice; and also Kathryn.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Polo Senior Center.
