She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bennett and Flora Bennett; her husband Samual Johnston; her daughter Paula Mason; and her siblings, Marguerite, Betty, Mary Louise, Bill Jo, Phillip and Lawrance.

She is survived by: her son Dennis Johnston (Laura) of Florida. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
