She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hird and Ruhamma Hird; and her brother Gregg Hird. She is survived by: her sons, Melvin Taylor Jr. (Cathy) of Australia and Matthew Taylor (Robin) of Freeport; and her sisters, Sarah Hird of Polo and Christine Forte of Santa Barbara, CA. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren.
