George Schroeder Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2023, at the age of 88, George Schroeder of Polo, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colin E. Schroeder and Alice C. Schroeder (Carroll); his wife Sue A. Gardner; his daughter Kathryn Alice Schroeder; and his brother James Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Schroeder (Diana) of Fayetteville, PA, Thomas Schroeder (Jacque) of Sterling, IL, MaryBeth Landherr (Lynn) of Lanark, IL and Julie Schroeder-Ranz (Ted) of Sterling, IL; and his brother Thomas Schroeder (Karen) of Laguna Niguel, CA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; thirteen step great grandchildren; four step great great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Henry C. Adams Memorial Library in Prophetstown.
