It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth J. Pope (Polo, Illinois), born in Harmon, Illinois, who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Blackburn and Mary Blackburn (MeKeel); her husband Max L. Pope; her daughter Sharon Newell; and her siblings, Katy Smith, Joannie Sheridan, Mary Johnson, Ann Helfrich, Phyllis Cathey, Lewis, David, Joseph and Bill Blackburn.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Pope (Alice) of Polo, Richard M. Pope of Dixon and David J. Pope of Grand DeTour; and her brother Kenneth Blackburn of Dixon. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren; many Nieces and Nephews.
