He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Engel and Ruby Engel (Kloepping); and his brother-in-law Walter Schryver. He is survived by: his siblings, John Engel (Marge) of Polo and Delores "Skip" Schryver of Elk Mound, WI; his children, William Engel of Rockford and Marcia Dewey (Corey) of Polo; and his grandsons, Daniel Engel, Noah Dewey, Ethan Dewey and Sebastian Dewey. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and a nephew.
