With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine F Haak of Polo, Illinois, who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Haak; her father Melvin Henry Haak; and her sisters, Geraldine Ebersole, Bernice Lapp and Eleanor Koch.
She is survived by: her children, Melaine Rude of Harbor Springs, MI, Melissa Haak of Polo, IL and Martin Haak (Mally) of Polo, IL; her granddaughter Tara Guthrie (Joe) of Harbor Springs, MI; her children, Abby Haak of Milwaukee, WI, Katie Haak of Prophetstown, IL, Emma Stull (Zac) of Polo, IL, Jasmyn Geerts (Cameron) of Sterling, IL, Sydney Anderson and Cole Anderson of Polo, IL; and her great grandchildren, Henry Haak, Lillia Guthrie and Lillienne Geerts. She is also survived by children who called her mom and grandma.
A memorial has been established to East Jordan United Methodist Church in Sterling, IL and to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, IL.
