Edwin L. Strauss Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin L. Strauss of Polo, Illinois, born in Monroe, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Strauss and Hazel Strauss (Williams); his wife Joan McCleary; his sister Audrey McPherson; and his grandson Mason Love.
He is survived by: his uncle Vincent; his children, Susan (Jerry Love) of Gilbert, Arizona and Steve (Janet Henning Strauss) of Polo; and his grandchildren, Kailey, Jacob, Curtiss, Lauren and Kate. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be dedicated in Ed's name to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
