With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Spaine of Polo, Illinois, born in Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Spaine and Lois Spaine (Carlyn); his siblings, Edward, Tom Spaine and Beverly Spaine; and his niece Stacy Katner.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Babich; and his granddaughter Abigail Panetta.

A memorial has been established to Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
