He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Oliver and Edith Oliver (Nee Thomas); his son John Oliver; his siblings, John Oliver and Shirley Fietsam; his stepfather Erwin Stahl; and his parents-in-law, Frank Royer and Loretta Royer.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Oliver; his children, Brandi Oliver (Jason Zappia), Christopher Oliver (Angela Talley) and Robert Oliver; his daughter-in-law Dianne; his brother-in-law Ron Fietsam; and his grandchildren, Jacob Talley, Dayton Oliver, Alli Zappia, Sophia Oliver, Bella Zappia and Chase Oliver.
