With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orvil V. Badgett of Pocahontas, Illinois, born in Rombauer, Missouri, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus and Julia; his wife Stella Pipkins; his son Roy Badgett; and his sisters, Ruby Blankenship and Dillie Metz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Hannon (Larry) of Granite City, IL, Glenda Helton of Granite City, IL and Peggy Smith (Bill) of Pocahontas, IL; his sisters, Pearl Gulledge of Poplar Bluff, MO, Arlene Turner of Poplar Bluff, MO, Darlene Gowen of Poplar Bluff, MO and Linda Clark of Bowling Green, KY; and his brother-in-law Randall Pipkins of Las Vegas, NV.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, services are private with Bro. Nathan Wells officiating.
