It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kent L. Weiss (Pocahontas, Illinois), who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Weiss and Helen Weiss; his daughter Lisa Towell; his brother-in-law Robert Mosley; his nephew Christopher Gramlich; and his parents-in-law, Harry "Smoke" White and Midge White.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Weiss of Pocahontas, IL; his sons, Brian Weiss (Christie Bleier), Chad Weiss (Stacey), Jay Weiss (Kristine) and Jason Baublitz (Carla); his grandchildren, Alex, Drake, Maddie, Jordin, Gracie, Presley, Evie, Austin, Tyler, Dylan and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Greyson; his siblings, Kay Mosley, Jerry "Corndog" Weiss, Janet Wernle (Glenn), Kevin Weiss and Julie Childerson (Rodney); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Haberer (Nancy), Barb Murphy and LuAnn Halloran (Danny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 1104, for the Veterans Memorial in Pocahontas.
