He is survived by: his mother Sandra Lee Blankenship of Highland, IL; his stepfather Ronald Blankenship of Highland, IL; his wife Robin Salmons of Highland, IL; his children, Amanda Evans (Adam) of Pocahontas, IL, Danny Beard (Sarah) of Pocahontas, IL and Christopher Beard (Elizabeth) of Troy, IL; his siblings, Carla Korte of Highland, IL, Cheryl Michael (Chris) of Highland, IL, Janice Pilkerton (Mark) of Pocahontas, IL, Christine Kuczka (Zach) of Pocahontas, IL and Russ Blankenship (Tammy) of Pocahontas, IL; his grandchildren, Nichole Evans, Hunter Beard and Alexis Beard; his nieces and nephews, Aaron Korte (Kaleigh), Austin Mettler, Aliegh Michael and Cordes Michael; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlee Korte, Preslee Korte and Archer Korte.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Meridith Funeral Home (102 Moreland St, Pocahontas, IL 62275). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
