She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Clayton and Cornelia Clayton; her husband Myron Hess; her sons, Donald, Larry and Rodger Hess; her sister Jeanette Silveus; her great grandchild Casey Vanier; and her great great grandchildren, Teason and Andrew Vanier.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Keck (Ted) of Edwardsville, IL, Karen Accornero (Richard) of Pocahontas, IL, David Hess (Dawn Margherio) of Pocahontas, IL and Laura Bertagnoli (Shane) of Pontoon Beach, IL; her sisters, Virginia Starnes (Delmar) of Pocahontas, IL and Judy Favre (Larry) of Staunton, IL; and her stepsister Eileen Korte of Highland, IL. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren.
