We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2023, at the age of 94, Essie Loucks of Pocahontas, Illinois, born in Wolf Lake, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton King and Frances King; her brothers, Everett Lyerla, Gale King, Abe King and Eugene King; and her great grandchild Hannah Nance.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Nance (Dennis), Bernie Johnson (Rachel) and James Johnson (Fay). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
