He is survived by: his mother Barbara Metzger of Pocahontas, IL; his children, Buffy Shepherd of Pocahontas, IL, Heather Tetreau, Chris Towell (Brooke), Tabitha Buhman and Danny Metzger Rose (Sydney); and his siblings, Brian Metzger of Pocahontas, IL, Ray Metzger (Stephanie), Henry Allen Metzger and Becky Hayes (Jim) of Millesburg, IL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
