She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Slape and Mary Richee; her stepfather John Richee; and her grandfathers, William Slape (Randa) and A. L. Beard, Sr. (Eulah).
She is survived by: her son John Masterson (Rachel) of Pocahontas, IL; her granddaughters, Kaylee Spanheimer and Mandy Hart; her siblings, Michael Slape (Jean) of Belleville, IL and Cathy Frutiger (Ken); and her nieces and nephews, Timothy Slape (Tara), Lori Foley (Pat), Erin Smith (Donnie), Lindsey Blacharczyk (Brent), Tara Thompson (Jon), Kaitlyn Slape (Eric Feagans), Michelle Aldrich (Tim) and Michael Frutiger (Lisa). She is also survived by 19 great nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to Hug Cemetery or to Wisetown Baptist Church.
