With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack L Duncan of Plymouth, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 90. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jack had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jack may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Duncan and Vera Payne Duncan; and his brother Marlin Duncan. He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Erica Todd) and Michael Duncan (Julie); his grandchildren, Jamie Duncan, Matt Duncan, Andrew Duncan (Kelsea) and Ryan Duncan; his great grandchild Bristol Duncan; and his brother Dick Duncan.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Mortuary (217 E Depot St, Colchester, IL 62326). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
