She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob West and Esther West; her sister Sandy Kindhart; and her brother-in-law David Lantz. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Thompson of Plymouth, IL; her sisters, Debra Lantz of Clayton and Sherry Snelgrove (Brent) of Georgia; her children, Jason Kern (Tiffany) of Camp Point, Kim Dormire (Rick) of Clayton and John Kern of Jacksonville, FL; and her stepchildren, Byron Thompson (Julie) of Augusta, Dale Thompson (Mary) of Macomb, Linda Cremer (Jay) of Macomb and Michelle Hinderliter (Justin) of Lewiston. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
