It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert L. Mayes of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Mayes and Norma Mayes (Hay). He is survived by: his wife Sue Nelson Keyes; his daughter Lesa Myers (Paul); his stepchildren, Becky Boyer and Patrick Keyes (Kelly); his grandchildren, Alex Myers and Slade Myers (Randi); his stepgrandchildren, Gracie and Cooper Keyes; and his sisters, Ruth Ann Hobrock (Butch) and Debbie Martin (Tony). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Berlin Christian Church (2580 S Wake Rd, New Berlin, IL 62670). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
