He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Stoffels Parkes; and his brother Paul Parkes. He is survived by: his father Harold Parkes of Pleasant Plains; his sons, Jeff Parkes of Springfield and T. J. Parkes of New Berlin; and his siblings, Beth Parkes Irwin of Pleasant Plains and Mike Parkes (Lara) of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; and numerous friends.
