She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar J. Macklin and Hattie Marie Macklin (Evans); her husband George W. Higgs; her son Phillip David Higgs; her grandson Mitchell W. Nein; her great grandchildren, Trevor Michael Hayden and Ocean Savannah Siegrist; and her siblings, Helen Macklin and Bill Macklin.
She is survived by: her children, Mary James (Joe), Gene Higgs, Pam Krueger (Mike), Brenda Nickelson (Doug) and Kathy Nein (Mitch); and her brother Robert Macklin (Beverly). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salisbury Christian Church.
