He is survived by: his children, Beth Irwin of Pleasant Plains and Michael Parkes (Lara) of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Michael Miller (Adriana), Jeffrey Parkes, Owen Irwin (Emilie), T. J. Parkes (Ashley), Jonah Parkes and Virginia Parkes.
