Pennock of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, born in Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 55, on March 25, 2023. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jess, Frances Willard, Stanley and Velma Pennock; and his father-in-law Jerome Hoffman.

He is survived by: his parents, John Pennock and Lois Willard Pennock of Pittsfield; his wife Diana Pennock (Hoffman); his children, Kristin Pennock-Jackson (Kevin) of Clinton, Stephanie Fink (JJ) of Springfield, Jennifer Pennock of Pleasant Plains, John Douglas 'JD Pennock of Pleasant Plains and Natalie Pennock of Pleasant Plains; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Madelyn, Oliver Jackson, Jack and Teddy Fink; and his sisters, Jody Heavner (Danny) of Pearl and Lori Carby (Andrew) of Normal. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
