He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Kelly and Helen E. Hartsock Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Millie Kelly of Pleasant Hill; his sons, John Kelly (Lindsey) of Grundy Center and William Kelly (Sarah) of Bloomingdale, IL; his grandchildren, Beckett, Nolan and Nora; and his sister Kay Robinson of Pleasant Hill.
