It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy J. McElfresh of Pleasant Hill, Illinois, born in Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Loren and Gladys Lorene Kindle Wood; her husband James "Jim" L. McElfresh; her daughter Brenda Brady; and her sister Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Smith of Pleasant Hill and Carl McElfresh of Pleasant Hill; and her grandsons, Rusty, Caleb, Aaron Smith, Maximus and Alexander Cantwell.
