It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma June Hannel of Pleasant Hill, Illinois, born in Kampsville, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie A. Hill and Lois L. York Hill; her husband John Hannel; and her sister Wilma Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Serandos of South Carolina and Brenda Webb (Mike) of Nebo; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Terry, Brooke (Greg) and Shawn (Margo); her great grandchildren, Jace, Kinley, Gauge, Chance, Trevor, McKenzie, Madison and Miley; and her siblings, Jerald Hill of Nebo, Ronnie Hill (Teresa) of Pleasant Hill, Larry Hill (Charlotte) of Pleasant Hill and Carolyn Carroll (Sammy) of Pittsfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
