He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elmer and Eileen Jane Ovitt (Picton); and his sister Cheryl Klepser. He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Rezendes; and his daughters, Kari Villanueva (Laura Ovitt) of Oswego, IL and Talan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Veterans Administration or American Cancer Society.
