He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Lincoln Shirley Lincoln and Hengesbach; his stepfather Wayne Covert; and his parents-in-law, Art and Carole Ardelean.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Ardelean; his sister Susan Casner (Howard) of Plano, IL; his niece Tricia Troyer (Jason); his great-nephew Nathan; his great-niece Savannah of Hinckley, IL; his aunt Burdell Thomas of Somonauk, IL; his sister-in-law Robbie Kuehlem of Sayner, WI; his nephew Aaron of Sayner; his niece Katie De La (Eric); his daughter Julia Jean of Eagle River; and his close friend Jacki Niles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Legion Post 395-Plano-Honor Guard Fund; First Lutheran Church-Plano; Lutherdale in Elkhorn, WI; or the Leukemia / Lymphoma Society.
