He is survived by: his wife Marla J. Larsen-Williams; his son Eric Achtien (Amber); his grandchildren, Ethan, Vinny, Dylan and Calum; his siblings, Steven Williams (Marge), Susan Fishburn, Patti Ford (Roger) and Connie Williams; and his sister-in-law Margo Pollitt (Michael).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
