He was predeceased by: his parents, Aline Shelton and James Stanley Shelton; his siblings, Mary Ann Hale and Floyd Shelton; and his parents-in-law, William Blase and Emma Blase.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn M. Shelton; his daughters, Susan K. Vitale (John) and Sharon L. Holland (Brent); and his brother Walter Shelton (Marc) of Dallas, GA.. He is also survived by Four Grandchildren.
