She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kline and Bernice Kline of Batavia. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Grommes (Jerry) of Plano; her children, Andy Grommes (Kathy) of Somonauk and Amy Serby of Leland; her grandchildren, Anna Yeager (Ben) of Urbana, Matthew Grommes of Somonauk, Lucas and Curtis Serby of Leland; her mother-in-law Mary Grommes of North Aurora; her uncle Bob; her aunts, Marge Lawson of Ann Arbor, MI and Mavis Lawson of Spokane, WA; her sister Dorcy Kline of Batavia; and her father-in-law Raymond Grommes of North Aurora. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and her various pets.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Fox Valley Community Services, Open Door of Sandwich or to the Franklin Mall Lion's Club Project.
