She was predeceased by: her father David L. Halfacre (Davie); her husband Arthur Kendall Young (Bud); her siblings, Faye Lowry, Thelma Roberts, Wilma Roberts and H. Wesley Halfacre; her siblings-in-law, Delma Halfacre (Brown), Marjorie Halfacre (Jones), Margaret Young, Margerie Dwyer, Betty Young, Doval Lowry, Benton Roberts, Archie Roberts, Russell Young, Duwayne Young (Bill) and Robert Dwyer; her daughter-in-law Linda Young (Jones) of Centennial, CO.; and her brother Ralph Delouis Halfacre of Iuka, IL.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael K. Young of Centennial, CO, Timothy Young (April) of Plano, IL and Byron Young of Plano, IL; her great grandchild David Young of Centennial, CO; and her grandchildren, Amy (Luke), Ellis, Levi, Archer Hutchins of Centennial, CO, Joshua (Verloyn), Daniel, Jonathan, Noah, Esther Young of Sandwich, IL, Caleb (Hayley), Lydia, Nicolas, Cayde of Effingham, IL, Josiah (Andrea), Alyssa, Jason Young of Sandwich, IL, Priscilla (Tim), Skyler, Rylan, Greyson Hoots of Newark, IL and Abigail (Brandon). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beverage Family Funeral Homes - Sandwich (104 Terry St, Sandwich, IL 60548). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
