It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Wykes of Plano, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, John and Josh Wykes; and his grandparents, Albert, Phyllis Wykes, Bob and Bonnie Hansen.
He is survived by: his parents, John A. Wykes and Christine L. Wykes (Hansen); his wife Emily J. Halbesma; his sons, Tyler, Noah and Jack; his brother Clay Wykes (Amy); his parents-in-law, Laurie Bridge (Fred) and Steve Halbesma (Michelle); his niece Melaina Hoving (Paul); his nephew Cody Wykes; his great-niece Charlie; his great-nephew Solomon; and his pet Fancy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
