With solemn reverence, we commemorate Alvin Edward Kocher of Plano, Illinois, whose life came to an end on January 21, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Kocher and Lucy Kocher (Sittler); and his siblings, Rev. Donald Kocher, Richard "Dick" Kocher, Delmar Kocher, Harold "Fritz" Kocher, Shirley Grant and Diane Bohnstedt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Arlene Brands, Lucille Kocher and Charles Kocher (Nancy); his wife Joan Kocher (Streff); his children, Denise Iskowitz, Jason Kocher (Diane) and Eric Kocher (Kim); and his grandchildren, Brandon Iskowitz, Maya Kocher, Owen Iskowitz, Mitchell Kocher, Murphy, Maisy and Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner-Eighner Funeral Home (3952 Turner Ave, Plano, IL 60545). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Parish (406 Walnut St, Yorkville, IL 60560).
