He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitey Askew and Marjean Askew; his parents-in-law, Dale and Beth Baish; his siblings, Sandra Burger, Mark Askew and Kip Askew; and his nephews, Howie Askew and Randy Ferretti.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Tammy Adair (Don), Kristi Askew and Bill Askew (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jarod, Nathan, Skylar Adair, Karli, Kaden Kays, Billy, Paige and Gabe Askew; and his siblings, David Askew (Bert), Janey Baish (Jim Detzler), Joan Landry (Roger), Michael Askew (Susan) and Kimberly Leigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
