He is survived by: his wife Hedy Sterling; his grandchildren, Daniel Sampanetti, Jr. and Alexandra Sampanetti; and his stepgrandchildren, Tony Kinast (Courtney), Jaclyn Wieser (Jeff) and Ethan Kinast.
