She was predeceased by: her husband Newey Kearney Sr.; and her brother James R. Helms. She is survived by: her children, Vivian Oxley (Dave) and Newey Kearney, Jr.; her grandchildren, David Oxley (Suzanne), Adrienne Walton (Steve) and Courtney Turner (Michael); her great grandchildren, Drew, Sadie, Bryce, Lauren, Libby and Olivia; her sister Ruby Hargrove; her sister-in-law Janice Helms (late Leroy); her stepdaughter Frances Ann Cooke (James); her stepgranddaughters, Kelly Cooke and Nikki Vann (John); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chelsea, Shelby and Libby.
