Steven L. Zimmer Obituary
In loving memory of Steven L. Zimmer of Plainfield, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who departed this world on February 26, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Zimmer and Blanche Zimmer. He is survived by: his wife Marci; his children, Katherine Mueller (Gregory) of Naperville, IL and Steven Zimmer (Julie) of Rolling Meadows, IL; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Jonathan Mueller, Riley, Alexis (Austin Durbin) and Zachary Zimmer; his great grandchild Ava Mueller; his sister Patricia Neubauer; and his brother-in-law Roger Finnell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (15629 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield, IL 60544).
