It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sterling Mark Nortman (Plainfield, Illinois), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Nortman and Rose Nortman; his sister Valerie; and his parents-in-law, Thomas and Grace Fiore.
He is survived by: his wife Grace M. Nortman of Plainfield; his children, Tom Nortman of Homewood, Lisa Lopez (Bob) of Crown Point, IN and Cheryl Greenspan (Bryan) of St. Charles; and his grandchildren, Tori, Tara, David, Bryan, Christopher, Michele, Jake and Nicholas.
Funeral Services and interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL, were held with family as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Gary Sinise Foundation, PO Box 368, Woodland Hills, CA 91365, would be appreciated.
