She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Schmidt; her sister-in-law Rose Stevkov; her parents, Waino Niemi and Olga Niemi; and her brothers, Edwin (Gloria), Einar (Betty), Melvin (Joan) and Kenneth Niemi.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Schmidt (Sandra), Lori Congiusti (late Joseph), Kenneth Schmidt (Raelisa) and Irreplaceable; her grandchildren, Matthew, Kayla, Marissa and Mandi Schmidt; and her siblings-in-law, Leonard Schmidt and Arlyss Niemi.
